Mastering is the final step in the creative process and the first step in the technical process in producing music with the highest creative and technical potential.

Mastering is not only about technical processing such as the balancing of frequencies, compression and limiting, but also uses the experience and creativity of the technician to evaluate the music with fresh perspective. The aim of mastering is to use and build on the potential of the raw mix - for example giving the music qualities such as warmth, clarity, dynamics, depth, width and punch in order to produce a complete sound experience.

In the mastering process we use a combination of high quality hardware and software. For each project we evaluate a number of different effects and styles to determine which forfills the tracks maximum potential. We have experience in a wide range of styles and media - we also offer sound restoration (for example of old vinyl records and tape).

During the mastering process we are in regular dialog with the client, sending the latest updates in order to create the client’s desired sound. File transmission is done via our FTP server and the finished master can be delivered as Exabyte DDP image, Red Book CD-R, or as Wav format. We can also produce optimally coded MP3 files for Internet promotion.
